Dreamy makeup is all about glow, softness and blending, and it takes far less time than it looks. With five products and ten minutes, you can get that lit-from-within finish.

Prep the canvas

Start with moisturiser and a luminous primer. Hydrated skin does half the work, so let each layer settle for a minute before the next.

Keep the base sheer

A tinted moisturiser or light foundation, pressed in with fingers or a damp sponge, evens tone without hiding skin. Conceal only where needed: under eyes and around the nose.

Add soft colour

Cream blush on the apples of the cheeks, a wash of champagne shadow across the lids and one coat of brown mascara keep everything romantic and wearable.

Finish with glow

A dab of liquid highlighter on cheekbones, brow bones and the cupid's bow, plus a tinted lip balm, seals the dreamy effect. Mist with setting spray and you are done.
